MAY 14 – The Pole, a prayer and worship event led by students at Sebring High School. Meet at the flagpole outside the Smith Center at 7 a.m.
MAY 15 – Seek the Lamb fundraiser for missionary Camille Williams at Brewster’s Coffee House from 7 to 9 p.m. Coffee and jewelry will be on sale. Camille wants to minister in Nicaragua. You can go to seekthelamb.com to get more details on that group’s work there.
MAY 16 – The Crhonicles of Narnia Prince Caspian opens at the Carmike Cinema 8 in the Lakeshore Mall. Carmike will install 4 prints, so the opportunities will abound to see this blockbuster sequel.
MAY 17 – Youth for Christ BBQ dinner pickup begins at 11 a.m. at Firemen’s Memoiral Field in Sebring. Call 386-0005 for tickets and details.
MAY 24 – Youth for Christ of Highlands County Benefit Run/Walk. Registration is at 6:30 a.m. and the race starts at 7:30. Call 386-0005 for more info or early registration forms, or pick one up at Brewster’s Coffee House in Sebring, and get a tasty smoothie or coffee while you are there!
JUNE 6 – Dearly Departed opens at Highlands Little Theatre. Call the box office at 382-2525.
JUNE 27 – Eddie Money in concert at the SFCC auditorium. Call the box office at 784-7178.
